Today I'm going to tell you about the easiest pour painting method I can think of, a method I personally call a sandwich technique. I think it's called different way out there in the world but I'm going to keep calling it sandwich anyway just because it's cute.
First of all, you need to get your ingredients right.
Mix acrylic paint with water (and pouring medium if necessary, for me it all depends on the paint - some of them require pouring medium, some of them are perfect without it) until you get a silky smooth consistency (like pancake dough)
Add silicone oil or spray to each cup of paint
Have heat gun (or torch) ready!
Now cover both pieces of coaster (or both canvases, but it's easier to do it on small pieces) in paint until they are fully covered. Make sure there are no empty spaces and that there's a nice, even distribution of colors. Now clap both pieces together and squeeze a bit to make sure they are properly stuck. Open your sandwich and a use heat gun so cells can develop. And that's it! Easy right?
I believe video always shows techniques better than written word so you can check this method in action below :) Make also sure you subscribe to my youtube channel so you never miss any tips and tricks <3
